Nein Danke! Laura Mercier Mineral Pressed Powder

Laura Mercier Mineral Pressed Powder anmeldelse

ENGLISH SUMMARY

Welcome to a new category on the blog! It’s called “Nein Danke!” and you can probably imagine what it is about. I usually only review products that I like, and in general want to “spread the love” and share positive stuff with you on the blog, but sometimes I just get angry at a product. That can either be because I am having a bad day and hate my face, but mostly because the product does not deliver. This will not happen too often as I tend to nerd around for hours on the web before I buy something, and am most times satisfied. However, in the the odd case out, I feel it would only be fair to let you know if and why I find a product disappointing – and possibly save you some money. In all cases it is very well possible that I simply do not apply the product in the right way or that it works perfectly on another person, in that case (or if you agree with me) let me know and drop a comment!

First “winner” of the catgory is Laura Mercier’s Mineral Pressed Powder which after only one application quickly goes rather cakey and certainly after two leaves you with a gross cakeface with product build-up in random places. I don’t even know why I bought it as I did see in store that it didn’t sit well on my skin, but I was apparently influenced by good reviews I had read and also by the sales person who insisted that this was because I had used a cream that was too greasy. Moreover, the shade I was matched to “Real Sand” is, despite being yellow-toned, rather ashy and grey and makes me look like … a living dead (and we are NOT talking Bella from Twilight).

  2. Det er jeg glad for du synes! 🙂
